Repowering, replacement projects and storage upgrades can release transformers and substation equipment that still have a resale or recovery path.
Gasbox reviews solar and wind farm transformers, battery-storage transformers, switchgear, breakers, controls and electrical conductors. Tell us what is available now, what is still installed and when the site needs it removed.
You make the equipment available. We arrange the pickup.
The seller does not need to arrange freight, lifting equipment or loading crews.
Gasbox coordinates specialist contractors and a removal plan suited to the equipment, site access and required schedule. The scope and responsibilities are agreed before mobilization.
Rigging, cranes and heavy-unit extraction
Dismantling, loading and site access planning
Heavy haul and international freight
Oil handling and environmental contractors where required
Transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, substation equipment, copper, aluminum and electrical cable. The buying list above gives specific examples. Send an equipment list if your project includes several categories.
Do you buy transformers from solar, wind and battery storage sites?
Yes. Transformers from solar farms, wind projects and battery storage facilities are part of our buying scope, including surplus equipment, retired units and assets released during upgrades or repowering. Include ratings and nameplate photos where available.
Can you purchase and remove equipment outside the United States?
Yes. We review equipment opportunities worldwide and coordinate removal and international transport around the site location, access requirements and agreed transaction.
Who arranges removal and shipping?
Gasbox coordinates specialist contractors for rigging, cranes, dismantling, loading and transport. The seller does not need to find a freight carrier or loading crew. Site responsibilities, oil handling and any additional work are agreed before mobilization.
Does the equipment need to be working?
No. Operational, unused, retired, failed, damaged and scrap equipment can be considered. Describe its condition and share any available test or oil reports so the review is based on the actual equipment.
How quickly can you review and collect equipment?
Send the site location, equipment details and required removal date. We review the opportunity promptly and confirm a practical pickup schedule after assessing access, equipment condition, transport and any required permits. Timing is agreed for each project.
What if the equipment is still installed?
Installed equipment can be reviewed before it is ready for removal. Tell us the planned release date and any operating restrictions. Safe isolation and access are coordinated with the owner, site operator and qualified contractors before work begins.
What should I send for an initial review?
Start with photos, nameplates, the quantity, condition, location and desired removal date. Our equipment form accepts photos, inventories and supporting documents. You can also make an introduction or send a short inquiry if the details are still being gathered.
